Meet Karen & Natalie
While walking home from Prairie View Elementary School in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Third-Graders Karen Bachman and Natalie Finazzo determined that they would one day work together. Two decades later, their friendship, education, faith, experiences and talents brought them together as the dynamic team creating iluminate books™.
AUTHOR
Karen is a graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a Bachelors of Arts and the Arts Institute with degree in Web Design and E-Commerce Management. As a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant, Karen provides clients with dynamic graphics and targeted ad campaigns. In December 2007, Karen created the opportunity to unite dreams and reality with book concepts inspired to manifest virtue and creativity. Karen married Matt Thull in 2001 and together they have three bright and charming children Lauren, and twins, Hannah and Vincent.
ILLUSTRATOR
Natalie has a Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design and a Bachelors of Science in Packaging Technology. The pairing of these two curriculums has given her the ability to embrace her endeavors both creatively and technically. While being employed in the technical field of Engineering she has freelanced for several years indulging her passions by specializing in the art of family and wedding photography.
