The story of Rosie & Henry is loosely based on the life of Henry Bachman, pictured with his wife Hattie below, who started Bachman’s. And it just so happened that Rosie & Henry & The Pasta Garden, the second release from iluminate books, was going to be available right when Bachman’s was celebrating their 125th Anniversary! How incredible that Henry was able to oversee the selling of the children’s book he inspired!
