For the month of April Humble Pie was available for purchase from Dunn Brothers, Eden Prairie. It was especially nice to meet the other local authors and enjoy some wine at the Authors Meet, Greet and Book Signing on April 22nd!

So the conversation goes a little like this…
Karen: “I don’t see Nellie (“Nellie” is how we fondly refer to “Humble Pie” as “Nellie” is the main character) on the children’s book shelf…”
Natalie: “I don’t see her over here either…”
Karen: “Well, maybe they put her over by the Christams decorations?”
Natalie: “Oh that makes sense, yeah, let’s check over there.”
(Karen & Natalie proceed to walk over to the Christmas decor section of Bachman’s Eden Prairie in search of Nellie. SIDE NOTE: After the Book Signing at the Lyndale store the remaining Humble Pie books were going to be distributed to the other Bachman’s retail locations, and Karen and Natalie being “christmas eve excited” to see them on a store shelf somehow managed to end up, together, at a Bachman’s retail location just days after the book signing…still unable to locate Nellie, they walk back towards the children’s section of the store. Rounding the corner into the children’s section Karen begins to speak…)
Karen: “I think they must still be in transit from…”
Natalie: “Oh. KAREN. (Natalie gasps) Look…” (Karen’s eyes follow into the direction Natalie is pointing and see…)
Not only were the books most assueredly at Bachman’s, they just so happened to be displayed on the check out counter!

Karen and I were thrilled to be a part of Bachman’s Holiday Open House Weekend! Two days of book signings left us exhausted but overjoyed that so many of our friends and family came out to see us! Thank you to all of you!
